What’s Your Verse 📖

"What's your verse?"

Sitting in a college den, handed Joel 2:25: "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten."

Great. My life just got compared to locusts.

But years later, teaching students to make critical diagnostic decisions, the question returns: How do you teach resilience, strength, confidence, and humility all together? How do you model the choice between complaining without changing, or progressiveness of thinking that leads to restoration?

We are a product of the choices we make, not the circumstances we face. And sometimes the Word packs its punch exactly when you need it most, eight years later, on a lovely evening, realizing that choices impact restoration.
